The portfolio finish-line plan records the October release. This review asks whether the current experience, AI behavior, framework, documentation, and development tools earn their claims in actual use. Badges belong to another session. The course platform is a read-only example of the development workflow, not an implementation target.

Current phase

The owner approved an evidence-backed audit and prioritized improvement plan on October 31, 2026. This phase writes reports only. No implementation, push, deployment, badge changes, or course-platform edits are authorized by this plan. Framework and PANTRY fixes need their own bounded implementation plans in their owning repositories.

  • [x] Inspect portfolio, AI, Builder, framework, PANTRY, and documentation through independent read-only audits.
  • [x] Reproduce the principal correctness findings independently of their original auditor.
  • [x] Inspect seven public routes at desktop and narrow browser widths.
  • [x] Complete the browser and live-model evidence, or record precisely why it could not be obtained.
  • [x] Finish the findings report and prioritized improvement plan, with independent review.
  • [x] Obtain the owner's priorities for implementation; the later goal request authorizes the priority proposal below.

The audit snapshot at audit/portfolio-framework-quality-2026-10-31.md owns findings and evidence. This plan tracks the review phase rather than silently converting every finding into implementation.

Implementation authorized October 31

The owner requested an active goal and authorized proceeding with the priority proposal. Work now proceeds in bounded slices on local branches, without pushes, releases, deployments, badge changes, or course-platform edits. Shared framework and PANTRY changes are delegated to their owning repositories. Independent review and appropriate gates precede any completion claim.

  • [x] Root: restore local grounding delivery and recover from failed knowledge requests.
  • [x] Portfolio AI worker: unique imported addresses, prompt budgets, and checked draft handover.
  • [x] Framework worker: fail-closed PROOF verification and reliable watcher lifecycle, then generic model actions and cancellation.
  • [x] PANTRY worker: package closure and install smoke tests, lint, and decision-log validation/error reporting.
  • [x] Root: asset-export failure reporting in BATCH after the first framework slice.
  • [x] Root: Builder entry flow, recovery and copy-editing scope; browser evidence.
  • [x] Root: contributor docs, maintenance and a real-task PANTRY comparison.

The earlier report-only envelope describes the audit phase. This section records the later implementation authorization rather than rewriting that historical scope.

Local implementation result, November 1

The twenty initial findings have local source fixes and verification, recorded in the dated run report. The Builder now offers the editable example prominently and makes Open reversible. Arbitrary natural-language copy editing, richer contact conversation and a generic planner remain separate product choices; they are not silently claimed as implemented. Current contact drafting preserves human-only sending.

The real-task PANTRY walkthrough supports keeping file-based checks usable without requiring the dashboard. It did not demonstrate native Codex session discovery or owner adoption value, so this goal makes no new dashboard or emitter integration. The detailed walkthrough stays in the ignored briefs folder because its source is a private consumer repository.

Skills and graph indexes were refreshed. The private Claude memory budget and missing historical run stdout remain named maintenance debt; this session does not rewrite private memory or invent past gate output. No push, release, deployment, badge change or course-platform implementation change was made. Framework fixes are in sibling source branches and are not installed into the portfolio's public package pins until a later owner-controlled release.
