Gastosaurus

A final project from Full-stack JavaScript, 2026 first semester. Part of Fifteen full-stack apps from a semester I almost did not survive.

What it is

Gastosaurus is a group expense tracker for barkadas, roommates and trips. It keeps a running balance for each person, suggests the fewest payments to settle up, and has the receiver confirm each one.

Built with React, Express and PostgreSQL.

Why it is here

A dinosaur mascot for a budgeting app should not work. It does. And ambagan is the right word: it is built for how Filipino friend groups actually split a bill.
