kind: student-project

tags: [students, student-work, apsi]
summary: "Basketball training plans you can pick up where you left off."

*A final project from Full-stack JavaScript, 2026 first semester. Part of [Fifteen full-stack apps from a semester I almost did not survive](/calendar/2026-s1-apsi-students).*
## What it is
HoopRoutine lets a player choose a preset routine or build their own from drills, log what they did, and watch shooting accuracy and training time move over the weeks.
Built with React, Express and PostgreSQL.
## Why it is here
The design has a voice: big black type, one orange, nothing wasted. And the progress screens make you want to go shoot, which is the point of a training app.
